Will LIFX work with a Personal Hotspot?
LIFX does not support most mobile hotspots. The reason is many are Ad-Hoc based vs Infrastructure based.
If your hotspot provides the right kind of network, it should work with your LIFX. Remember, each LIFX will create a connection on the network. This means the hotspot may only be able to support 1-2 bulbs, along with your other devices. For cloud connectivity, cellular data rates may apply.
