Learn how to connect your LIFX light to your home network and Apple Home using the HomeKit QR code on your iPhone or iPad. This flow relies on scanning the code printed on your product.
HomeKit
Older LIFX products support setup through HomeKit, the QR code will show only the HomeKit. Look for the HomeKit QR code printed on your product or inside the manual — it includes the HomeKit logo and an 8-digit numeric code.
If you can’t scan the QR code, you can manually enter the 8-digit setup code instead. This is helpful if your QR code is damaged and/or your phone camera can not scan it.
If your QR code looks different and has a Matter icon and 1-digit code, you have a Matter device.
