Google Home isn't activating my LIFX Scenes
If Google Assistant can control your LIFX lights but isn't activating your saved LIFX Scenes, try the following:
- Open the LIFX app and confirm that the Scene exists and works when activated directly.
- Make sure the lights included in the Scene are connected to your LIFX Cloud account.
- Ask Google Assistant to "sync my devices" to refresh the connected LIFX devices and available Scenes.
- Try activating the Scene using its exact name. If the name is similar to another device, room or Google Home command, consider renaming the Scene to something more distinctive.
- If the problem continues, check that your LIFX account is still linked in Google Home.
If Google Assistant still cannot activate your Scenes, contact LIFX Support with the Scene name, the voice command you're using and any response or error message from Google Assistant.
