In most cases, if a firmware update on your LIFX light(s) has failed, reinstalling the LIFX app will resolve the issue. However, if the issue persists, please try:
1) Moving the affected light(s) closer to the router (if you are using a mesh network, move the light closer to the Main node)
2) Power cycle the router and phone/ smart device
