There is currently a known issue where opening your Switch via HomeKit may crash the Apple Home App.
We are currently working with Apple to resolve this.
In the interim, we have a workaround in the form of a firmware update that will re-establish Switch functionality within HomeKit. This will involve updating your Switch firmware to our current beta release and re-pairing the Switch in HomeKit.
