Connects with LIFX Troubleshooting

If you are having issues with using one of the Connects with LIFX devices or apps, check the following:
  1. Make sure you have the latest LIFX app.
  2. Check that your bulbs have the latest firmware update
  3. Make sure you have an account for the integration you are using.
  4. Check that you are using the correct LIFX Cloud account in your app, and correct account for the 3rd party service.
If you are still having issues, please try:
  1. Log into your LIFX Cloud account at
  2. Revoke access for the service you are having issues with.
  3. Reconnect the service in the proper location: Alexa app for Amazon Echo,, Smartthings app, etc.
