My Light does not appear in my network list

See lifx.com/reset for steps on resetting a light.

When the bulb is correctly connected to your network, the LIFX network does not appear in your list of networks.

If your light is flashing Bright White / Dim White, it is in Rescue Mode and might not broadcast a network.

If you have reset your light, and cannot see the LIFX network to setup the bulb again, try the steps for the light you have.

LIFX (A19 and BR30), LIFX + (A19 and BR30), Color 1000 (A19 and BR30), White 800 (A19) and White 900 (BR30), LIFX Z

  1. Reset your light (turn it on/off 5 times)
  2. Wait between 15 - 30 seconds
  3. Open your Wi-Fi settings and look for the light's network name "LIFX...."

If the light does not appear:

  1. Reset the light again
  2. After the bulb settles on White, turn off the light for 5 seconds, then turn it back on
  3. Wait 30 seconds
  4. Turn your Wi-Fi on your device off then back on

LIFX Original (E26, E27, B22 and GU-10)

  1. Reset your light (flick the switch on the side of the bulb)
  2. Turn your Wi-Fi on your device off then back on
  3. Wait 2 minutes and check your Wi-Fi network list

If the light does not appear:

  1. Turn off the light for 3 seconds, then turn it back on
  2. Wait 30 seconds
  3. Turn your Wi-Fi on your device off then back on

Once the light is broadcasting its network, please use lifx.com/setup for step by step setup instructions.
