One or more of my bulbs failed to update

Before power cycling any LIFX lights, make sure that you have exited the firmware update section of the app.

Take the following steps:

  1. Power off all LIFX bulbs
  2. Turn on a single bulb
  3. Run the updater again

If the bulb updates, repeat the process one bulb at a time.

 

If you experience issues using the iOS LIFX Updater app, or in app Android updater, please try one of the desktop updaters available here.

If the bulb is still having issues updating, please copy the log in the updater, and contact support with the log, so we can assist further.
