The LIFX BR30 and LIFX + BR30 are IP65 outdoor rated. They can be used in outdoor fixtures and fixtures that may get direct water exposure
The rest of the LIFX line is not suitable for direct weather exposure. This means they are not a good fit for places with water that would actually get on the fixture when there is normal to heavy rain.
The A19 and Mini lines are acceptable for use in damp locations. Acceptable places would be: in a bathroom (but not inside a steam shower for example), outside- but only in lamps that are covered, and under eaves that would protect them from direct rain.
NOTE: Weather is unpredictable, and using your lights in non-recommended locations can void the warranty.
