When the bulb is correctly connected to your network, the LIFX network does not appear in your list of networks.
If your light is flashing Bright White / Dim White, it is in Rescue Mode and might not broadcast a network.
If you have reset your light, and cannot see the LIFX network to set up the bulb again, try the steps for the light you have.
- Reset your light (turn it on/off 5 times)
- Wait between 15 - 30 seconds
- Open your Wi-Fi settings and look for the light's network name, "LIFX...."
If the light does not appear:
- Reset the light again
- After the bulb settles on White, turn off the light for 5 seconds, then turn it back on
- Wait 30 seconds
- Turn your Wi-Fi on your device off and then back on
LIFX Original (E26, E27, B22, and GU-10)
- Reset your light (flick the switch on the side of the bulb)
- Turn your Wi-Fi on your device off and then back on
- Wait 2 minutes and check your Wi-Fi network list
If the light does not appear:
- Turn off the light for 3 seconds, then turn it back on
- Wait 30 seconds
- Turn your Wi-Fi on your device off and then back on
